Graphic Design

Graphic design as a discipline is deliciously diverse – it is used to inform and to influence, to entertain and to educate.
At CCCU we know graphic design is the best job in the world. Not only do you get to be paid for being creative, you also use visual research skills to analyse and summarise information, influence human behaviour and stimulate thinking in others through visual and sensorial communication. Good designers are in demand and with the necessary skills, talents and determination will always be in work. We regard all students as designers from the moment they arrive to start in our purpose-built studios, and by graduation they leave having gained professional and technical skills that reflect current and future industry practice, equipped to succeed in a competitive industry. The BA in Graphic Design is a practice-based course in which students develop portfolios of work based on live briefs and assignments based on real-world and future-world contexts. For us, doing good work for good people in an ethical and sustainable manner is a high priority. With this in mind, students are encouraged and supported to seek their own freelance project work from the first year onwards. We hope you enjoy the work.
